A versatile guitar, well suited for composing, recording and live performance.

Exceptional tonewoods are at the heart of this Orchestra Model acoustic. The top is made from the finest, aged German Spruce; a tonewood renowned for its superior sound qualities and usually reserved for violin family instruments and classical guitars.

The German Spruce top gives the guitar one of the most unique and beautiful tones we have heard from an acoustic guitar. It has the volume of a steel-string acoustic, but with some of the sensitivity and delicate overtones of a classical guitar.

We chose Hawaiian Koa for the back and sides. Koa adds a crisp, warm tone to the sound and complements the German Spruce top.

The Koa back is a particularly stunning looking piece of timber, exhibiting bold and deep 3D fiddleback figure. The figure is magnified by the precise bookmatching of the two halves, creating a mirrored effect.

SOUND
The sound has more musical character than a typical acoustic guitar.

Each note has a sensitive roundness of tone, allowing for more expressive playing. The tonal quality is reminiscent of a concert classical guitar, but with the timbre, volume and headroom of a steel-string.

The sound is reproduced through the Fishman Matrix pickup with soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls.

PLAYABILITY
A combination of a medium-size body, low action and comfortable neck profile make the guitar effortless to play.

The neck is a ‘C’ profile with a traditional OM width. It is especially suited to fingerstyle and flatpicking playing and also very comfortable for rhythm playing.

The oversize medium frets are dressed perfectly level, allowing for the lowest possible action with clean playing.

DESIGN & TRIM
Black outlines and accents of mother of pearl set off the beauty of the timbers used in the body.

The body bindings are made of black African Ebony, the soundhole is also bound with a single ring of ebony inside the Abalone rosette.

The fingerboard, bridge and headplate are also made of Ebony. A Black Tusq nut and saddle are used to create a seamless look. Schaller GrandTune open-geared tuners give a vintage look with precise tuning.

FINISH
A high-gloss Nitrocellulose Lacquer finish protects and beautifies the timber while allowing the body to resonate.

CASE
A Hiscox Pro-II deluxe flight case is included to keep the guitar safe on your journeys.
