Steel-string acoustic guitars have been part of our craft since the beginning. We continue to create a limited number of bespoke acoustics.
We occasionally build other instruments, including ukuleles and guitarleles. We treat these like small versions of guitars, building them with the same craftmanship and attention to detail as we apply to our guitar range.
For many musicians, steel-string acoustic guitars are more than just instruments—they’re a source of inspiration, a canvas for creativity, and a trusted companion for songwriting and performance.
When we design and build our acoustic guitars, we stay true to their familiar and timeless character while adding the personal touches and craftsmanship that make each one truly special.
From the shape and size of the body to the choice of beautiful tonewoods, trims, and inlays, every detail is a chance to create an instrument that feels unique – both in how it looks and how it sounds.
Beautiful timbers are at the heart of creating acoustic guitars that sound as good as they look. We carefully choose from a diverse range of premium tonewoods sourced from Australia and around the world. Each selection brings its own character and charm, making every guitar we build truly unique. For us, one of the greatest joys of crafting acoustic guitars is working with these stunning materials to create instruments with their own voice and story.
We finish our acoustic guitars with Nitrocellulose lacquer or French Polish, a traditional finish loved by players and builders alike. Both of these finishes highlight the natural beauty of the timbers they protect.
Nitrocellulose is more durable than French Polish but thinner than modern lacquers, allowing the wood to resonate naturally while providing excellent protection and durability – ensuring your guitar looks and sounds exceptional for years to come.
