The beauty of the timber used in this Orchestra model guitar is its focal point.

Hawaiian Koa
Acacia Koa is a timber only found on the islands of Hawaii, it is traditionally used by the Hawaiian people for canoes, surfboards and carvings. With its deep colours and intense figure it is not hard to see why Koa has become one of the the most desirable timbers for building guitars.

Design & Materials
The timber used in the back, top and sides is particularly beautiful and we have designed the instrument to complement the timber. We wanted the body of the guitar to give the illusion that it was carved from one piece of timber. We achieved this by seamlessly joining the top, back and sides. One part blends into the next without bindings that would normally be seen on the corners between them.

The rosette is a simple ring of New Zealand Paua shell which is matched to a headstock logo of the same material. The fingerboard and bridge are dark Indian Rosewood and are free from any ornamentation. The finish is Nitrocellulose Lacquer which has been hand-polished to a high gloss.

The sound of the guitar is clear and rich with a unique natural reverb and excellent string separation. This sound is reproduced through the Fishman Matrix pickup with soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls.

A Hiscox deluxe case is included to keep the guitar safe on your journeys.
